Over the past decade, Kelly Chu has continuously demonstrated her expertise in both the education and business sectors. Her vast experience in multiple roles has made her preeminent in her field.
Following her graduation from the Taipei-based Fu Jen University with a degree in communications, Kelly acquired the positions of news anchor and producer for CTS (Chinese Television System 台灣中華電視公司
). This was soon followed by roles as producer and moderator for a radio (AM 1430) news program and as news anchor for TVB (Television Broadcasts Limited 美國翡翠電視公司
Kelly further utilized her communications acumen when, in 1999, she transitioned into the education sector by becoming owner and director of ACI Academy in Tustin. At the helm of this college preparatory and scholastic subject enhancement enterprise, Kelly has made it her mission to be well versed in the intricacies of the Irvine school district and in the complexities of the college selection and application process. By effectively managing an ever-increasing staff of administrators and teachers and by maintaining a high quality and continuously expanding curriculum, Kelly has been able to provide her students (many of whom go on to prestigious universities) with a quality education and vocational direction.
As a result of her experiences as academy director and counselor, Kelly has developed a fundamental philosophy of the meaning of education. As she says, "Many students want to get into distinguished national universities, but they do not know where to start. I am just here to help them find a direction. The influence is long term. I truly believe that with my sincere encouragement and professional advice, students can develop great personalities and make their dreams come true".
