Orange County Native Allison Ritto understands the academic pressure facing many students today, as she herself was a graduate of the Troy Tech Magnet Program at the highly acclaimed Troy High School in Fullerton. From there she was awarded a full scholarship to attend Chapman University, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature with a Minor in Art. After several years in the business world, her creative spirit took her back to Chapman, where she completed a dual Master's Degree program in Creative Writing and English Literature. She hopes to foster the artistic side of her students, encouraging creative writing and critical thinking skills in addition to the fundamentals of reading, writing, and speaking. Allison is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and teaches Power yoga at several studios in Orange County and also at the Academy on Wednesdays for K-6 students. She hopes that yoga will help her pupils balance hard work with a healthy lifestyle, foster stress reduction and increase their overall well-being.
